These campsites are closest to (in fact, some are within) the race area. If you bring a grill, please be prudent in your use of fire, as this is a wooded area.Within the park, camping is $10 per night per tent or camper, and is payable at a self-service area near the entrance to the area. These sites are more equipped, having water, typical hookups, grills, and restrooms.
Special Note: Clear Creek is managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers, and as such has an alcohol ban for the entire Clear Creek area. Please note this exception.
Oxford also has the usual host of motel and hotel options, and a few Bed & Breakfasts as well. Oxford Cycling sponsor the Oxford Convention and Visitors Bureau has a nice listing of those options. Click here for that list.
Food in Oxford
The city of Oxford is equipped with typcial eating establishments of a college town with a population of around 15,000 (except Arby's!). If you're like most of us in Oxford Cycling, maybe you prefer something not "typical." Here is a sampling of Oxford's incredible atypical (ie, local) eateries.- Big Bad Breakfast
